liz is a writer, dramaturg and producer from london.

Liz is currently the BBC Talentworks Creator in Residence at Baby Cow Productions.

As a playwright, she is a graduate of Soho Theatre’s Writers Lab where she wrote her debut play bonhomié which was shortlisted for the Tony Craze Award 2020 and longlisted for the Alfred Fagon’s inaugural Mustapha Matura Award. Liz was an Oxford Playhouse Playmaker 2021/2022 and joined the Royal Court Theatre Writers’ Group in 2022. As a screenwriter, she has been commissioned by the BBC, Disney/Frog Box and is developing original TV projects. Liz was selected to join BBC Writersroom London Voices 2021 cohort.

In 2021, Liz was awarded the MGCFutures Bursary to take up a new post as the Literary Associate at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. She is currently a S.O.U.L Fest / ScreenSkills Black Film Producer Mentee.

She has worked as part of the producing team at the Barbican Centre, Arcola Theatre, Drayton Arms Theatre, Empath Eyes and was a Young Producer at Almeida Theatre. Most recently at Young Vic Theatre, supporting shows including, The Convert by Danai Gurira, starring Letitia Wright, Death of a Salesman starring Wendell Pierce, Tree by Idris Elba and Kwame Kwei-Armah and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Fairview by Jackie Sibblies Drury.

Liz is an alumnus of the Artistic Directors Leadership Programme from 2017 - 2019 and was an Almeida Youth Advisory Board member from 2018 - 2019.  In 2020, she was selected as one of sixty delegates for The Network at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
